First

A Conversation

You email us, we set up a call. Half an hour, nothing to prepare, no documents to dig up beforehand. You tell us what's going on and what's been keeping you up at night, and we'll be straight with you about whether we're the right people to help. Sometimes we're not, and we'll say so and point you somewhere better.

Then

We Take a Look

You share whatever you've got, in whatever state it's in. A messy spreadsheet is completely fine, and honestly it's what we usually see. We go through it on our own time and come back to you with what we're noticing, in plain language, without the lecture.

• Past grant applications, funded or not
• Anything you've been meaning to fix and haven't

What you send us stays with us. We don't share your numbers with anyone outside the engagement, and if you'd rather we delete everything once we're done, just say the word.

We Pick What Matters

We'll agree on one or two things worth actually doing, rather than a list of twenty that never gets touched. You'll know what we're building, roughly how long it'll take, and what we need from you along the way. It goes in writing, so nobody's guessing later.

Ongoing

We Stay As Long As You Need

We build the thing, then we sit down and walk your team through it until it makes sense to the people who'll actually be using it. The files, templates, and notes are yours to keep and change.

That last call isn't us closing the file. Budgets break, board members ask hard questions, a funder wants something in a format nobody's seen before. When that happens, write to us. We would rather be the people you can email a year later than the people who handed you a folder and disappeared. We'll stay partners for as long as it's useful to you.

The measure we hold ourselves to is simple: that we leave your organization better off than we found it.
